Fork in the road

Yesterday I heard a sermon on how there are two states a person must be in: single, or dating to marry. If you're dating for the sake of a relationship and not to marry, or dating just to have the perks of a relationship (romance etc.) then you need to quit it.

Yesterday was Jess' & I 3 year aniversary of our Cypress trip which started to the ball rolling. Yesterday we also decided to put our foot down whether to stay together or not. We both have our own doubts of whether this is the right time, or if we're both ready.

It's a tough choice, of course. Nothing is harder than a break-up of any sort. We've been having problems ever since year 2, and sometimes the arguments escalate to a level where we wish we weren't together. But something keeps us together.

I'm in a fork in the road. And I'm scared. I don't know where life is going to lead me. I must have faith in God. I'm anxious, and afraid.
