Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol rocked the joint on Thursday, Sept. 21 @ the PNE forum. Since it was a GA concert, there was a lot of room on the floor. However, not wanting to mingle with pot smoking, smelly teens, Jess & I chose to sit on the side seats (covered in dust, mind you)) clost to the stage. The view was eggcellent. The sound was great and the music was fantasmic!

The highlights were definately Chocolate, Run, You're All I Have, and Open Your Eyes. Good thing about a smaller concert (than Coldplay, for e.g.) is that the lead singer is much more interactive, and talks to the crowd, plus you're close to it's more personal.

I think I'll go downstairs and blast Snow Patrol on my home theatre B&W speakers a bit.

Leaving the concert, there were people giving away free CD's outside - for Whitfield. Not wanting junk, I walked passed one briskly, but to my surprise, I heard, "Free CD, Ryan Mah?"

I look behind and it's Alec Maynard from VCS! All tall, lanky, and facial hair'd to the max! Well, not to the max, but grunged. So I took a CD just because it was him. What an experience that was. Big brother is watching.
